High quality hypalon sheet is custom manufactured by White Cross Rubber Products Ltd in the UK. Hypalon®, a registered tradename is often referred to more widely than the technical material name, chlorosulphanated polyethelene (CSM) even though it is no longer in production.
Hypalon material/ CSM is characterised by a broad range of chemical, mechanical and environmental properties in a similar way to neoprene but has the advantage of better resistance to ultra-violet light making it suitable for a range of applications (see rubber properties table).
Hypalon rubber sheet, chlorosulpanated polyethelene (CSM) sheet and calendered hypalon sheeting can all describe the same type of product manufactured at our Lancaster facility to an agreed set of specifications.
Hypalon sheeting of different hardness (typically IRHD 40,50,60,70,80) with either a smooth finish or cloth surface finish can be supplied. On request uncured hypalon sheet or semi cured hypalon sheet can be delivered. White Cross Rubber Products Ltd. is a specialist hypalon rubber sheet supplier manufacturing thin gauge hypalon sheeting (0.2mm – 6.0mm) and wide width hypalon sheeting up to 1.9m wide.
